Faculty Orientation
Each School of the University holds an orientation for new faculty members. Orientation to the University as well as orientation to the School (program) is covered in overall Faculty Orientation Guide. Orientation is geared towards helping an individual successfully meet what is required of faculty member’s specific and specialized needs. Time is provided for familiarization of selected University documents such as the Faculty Handbook and the University Catalogue among others. The new faculty member is provided with a mentor for the first year of employment and can ask questions of their mentor and be provided guidance on either the answer to the question or the contact who can answer the question for the faculty member. More information on this topic is found in the Faculty Orientation Guide.
