Rank “Promotion”
Promotion in rank at AUHS follows standard norms typical of many academic institutions. Faculty members join the University at an assigned rank and progress in rank according to performance in the areas of teaching, research/scholarship, service, and practice. Promotion is earned by achieving a high level of performance with respect to teaching, research/scholarship, and service activities.
