FACULTY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

As previously discussed in Section III, faculty members are required to maintain a professional development record. The faculty development plan is an opportunity to pursue and gain knowledge in areas that one has special interest in or develop areas where a weakness may be present. The Faculty Development Plan acts as a roadmap and a guide to help you to become the best educator you can be. It is the faculty member’s responsibility to promote their personal professional development and up date the supervisor quarterly even if the supervisor does not request the update.
