THEFT

Theft is a criminal act. In case of actual or suspected theft, the University may contact an appropriate law enforcement agency. The University expects Employees to cooperate fully with any such investigation.

While on University premises, the University reserves the right to inspect all purses, briefcases, backpacks, packages, lockers, and vehicles in order to protect all Employees, their Co-workers, and the University. If Employees must remove University property from the premises, the Employees must obtain written permission in advance from Human Resources. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action, up to and including immediate separation of employment.
