PERSONNEL RECORDS
Employee personnel files are considered confidential property of the University. So that information in personnel files is current, Employees must notify Human Resources whenever they have a change in data such as address, phone number, or emergency contact.
Employees may review their personnel file in the presence of Human Resources within 30 days after submitting a written request to Human Resources. Employees may request a copy of any document in their personnel file. Employees who wish to view any data related to their compensation not contained within their personnel file may also request to do so by submitting a written request to Human Resources. Compensation records will be made available for review within 21 days from receipt of the request.
Employee personnel files and compensation records are considered confidential property of the University. Personnel files and compensation records may not be removed from the University premises without the written authorization of Human Resources.
