Accidents
An accident occurring during normal working hours is to be reported to the faculty member’s supervisor at once. The supervisor will notify the Management and HR. On notification of an accident, the Human Resources Office will complete an accident form, which must be forwarded, no later than 48 hours after the accident has occurred, in order that the faculty member may be covered under the School’s Workmen’s Compensation Plan. Accident need to be reported to the HR administrator and hr.info@auhs.edu
Safety is the responsibility of the head of the department who should make sure that all guards and safety equipment are being used and that only authorized personnel are using equipment and machinery, which is under their responsibility.
