Annual Interview
The Department Head will conduct an interview with each of their Employees on or near the occasion of the one-year anniversary of employment with the University. The interview will be conducted in such a way that the Employee feels the University’s interest is in the Employee. Thereafter, the department heads are expected to have periodic interviews with their employees as needed, but no less than annually.
The purpose of the annual interview will be to determine in a general way if the Employee is satisfied with the job, the University, and fellow workers. It is not intended as a substitute for the Supervisor’s performance appraisal.
