BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The American University of Health Sciences (AUHS) has established a Board of Trustees to address issues of policy and implementation practices consistent with expectations in higher education. The statement of mission for this Board includes oversight responsibility for ensuring fiscal sustainability as well as other committee charges, and assurance that the University
mission is being achieved. The Board of Trustees of AUHS consists of 7 members, the majority of which are not employed by the University and are valued members of the community. There are 5 public members, one shareholder and one internal member of the University. The Board of Trustees is responsible for the quality and integrity of the University and monitors the duties and responsibilities of the President/CEO, as those duties relate to the achievement of the university’s mission, goals, and objectives.
