professional image is important and is maintained, in part, by the image presented by the University’s Employees. No one has a second chance to make a first impression. Employees must report to work properly groomed and wearing clothing appropriate for the nature of the University’s business and the type of work performed. Employees should check with their Supervisor if they are unsure about their attire. It is the responsibility of each Supervisor to communicate guidelines for clothing and appearance to all current Employees and to each new Employee when hired.
