Insubordination
All Employees have duties to perform, and everyone, including Supervisors, must follow directions. It is against University policy for an Employee to refuse to follow the directions of a Supervisor or management official unless the direction conflicts with University policies, standards, or ethics. It is also against University policy to treat a Supervisor or management official in an insubordinate manner in any respect. Insubordinate employees will be subjected to disciplinary process, up to and including immediate separation of employment from the University. Employees must fully cooperate with University investigations into potential misconduct. Refusal to fully disclose information in the course of a University investigation is insubordination and will not be tolerated.
