Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all University buildings and vehicles. Smoking must be confined to designated outdoor areas during meal and rest periods only. The definition of smoking includes traditional cigarettes and other tobacco products, all electronic smoking devices, e-cigarettes, and vaporizers. In particular, e-cigarettes are no longer permitted on any of the University’s properties due to the risk of explosion, even when not in use. Additionally, smoking marijuana, consumption of marijuana, or being under the influence of marijuana products are also prohibited in all University buildings and vehicles and while performing work on behalf of the University.
