SOLICITATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF LITERATURE
In order to ensure efficient operation of the University’s business, and to prevent distraction to Employees, the University has established rules applicable to all Employees governing solicitation, distribution of written material, and entry onto the premises and work areas. All Employees are expected to comply strictly with these rules. Any Employee who is in doubt concerning the application of the following rules should consult with their Supervisor.
Solicitation by an Employee of another Employee for the support of any University is prohibited during the working time of either Employee. In addition, the distribution of paper advertising materials, handbills, or other literature is prohibited in all working areas and sales areas at all times. Similarly, non-Employees may not come on the University’s property at any time to solicit for any cause or distribute material or literature of any kind for any purpose.
