Wage Adjustments
Satisfactory performance appraisal outcomes will not necessarily result in wage increases. Rather, wage adjustments may be made at any time at the sole discretion of the University and may depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to job performance. Any wage adjustment may be proposed by the supervisor, and must be approved by the Senior Executive Leadership. Effective wage adjustments, other than those occurring at “any time” within the performance appraisal period, will go into effect on January 1st following the review period. The ranges of wage adjustments given are based solely of the discretion of Executive Leadership.
In no case shall salary recommendations be discussed with the employee until the recommendation has been submitted by the evaluating Supervisor to the department head, and submitted by the department head to the Executive Leadership for approval.
