About Your Orientation Guide |
This Guide has been prepared to assist you as a new academic administrator and/or faculty member. You will find information related to dean, faculty and student policies in the AUHS Catalogue, Faculty Handbook, and Student Handbook. The information outlined in the aforementioned documents reflects the expectations for handling various situations related to academic operations and activities. Faculty Senate By-Laws is an additional document that will provide you with the culture and expectations of the University. Changes in the policies, procedures, handbooks, by-laws, and practices described in these documents should follow the decision-making process (see below), written in the Faculty Handbook. As a new member of our AUHS family, you are expected to be a member of School committee and engage, contribute, and make recommendations that will provide us with opportunities to become even better!
Accordingly, the University reserves the right to modify, add, delete, or revise any provisions contained in these Handbooks and other documents at any time as it deems necessary or appropriate in its sole and absolute discretion. Please take the time to read, understand, and familiarize yourself with this orientation manual, Faculty and Student Handbooks, AUHS Catalogue, Faculty By-Laws, Senate By-Laws, and other relevant documents.
