Faculty CEU’s & Off-Campus Meetings

As an institution committed to the education of a wide-range of health provider professionals, the University recognizes the importance of lifelong learning.  Funding for faculty continuing education and special meetings is available on a limited basis from a common program pool.  Funding for faculty will be compensated following the procedure outlined in the faculty handbook.  Funding is limited to reimbursement for up to 50% of any PRE-APPROVED faculty activity in order to provide more opportunities for more faculty members.  Each program (college) is responsible for identifying program priorities and needs and will make their funding decisions based upon identified needs and management of their accreditation activities.  Faculty members are strongly encouraged to seek out new sources of CE support (e.g. grants) for the academic activities they are interested in pursuing.
