AUHS Systematic Evaluation and Assessment Plan (AUHS-SEAP) |
The main objective of the American University of Health Sciences Systematic and Assessment Plan (SEAP) is to foster a culture of continuous sustainable quality improvement and outcomes to ensure the effectiveness in fulfilling its mission, goals, and outcomes for all programs. The AUHS-SEAPs embodies the following operational processes:
- Support the AUHS institutional and programmatic missions of providing excellent academic preparation that yields to highly qualified graduates’ outcomes.
- Provide the schools’ leadership assessment tools for measuring performance and outcomes towards the development of a systematic and continuous assessment of the teaching and learning processes.
- Coordinate and facilitate an on-going assessment of outcomes in a student learner-centered environment.
- Facilitate the planning, data collection, data analysis and documentation of evidence of student achievement and program effectiveness shaping the AUHS SEAPs in collaboration with key instructional programs’ faculty and staff, administrative offices, and educational support units.
The Institutional Effectiveness Framework is based on who are involved and their relative capacity to undertake related responsibilities, what is to be accomplished, when will reviews take place, why analysis and reviews will be conducted, and how information will be used to make decisions that impact the success of the students. The SEAP data is updated on a quarterly basis and provides an annual comprehensive report which speaks to the mission, goals, and program effectiveness outcomes.
The following are main compositions of the AUHS SEAP which you are expected to review and understand in your orientation period with the Director of Institutional Research and Assessment.
